SUMMER KIDTIVITY - CREATE YOUR OWN KALEIDOSCOPE

Ever wondered how a Kaleidoscope works? Now you can find out and make one of your very own! On July 7th, we'll give a fun little lesson about how kaleidoscopes work using a trio of mirrors before helping participants create their own "swirl tubes" to insert into a pre-built tube (so younger kids won't need to work with glass) and create their own fun swirling patterns and images using glitter, trinkets, beads and glow in the dark stickers! And of course we'll finish it off with a few games, a story time, and a snack!

 

Recommended ages 5 and up, but younger ones are welcome, they just may need a little extra assistance!
