The Toniebox® is the speaker. Better yet, it is an imagination-building, screen-free, digital listening experience that plays stories, songs and more. Designed for little listeners, it’s the perfect story time companion for tiny hands and active imaginations.

The Toniebox comes to life when paired with one of the Tonies. Tonies are hand-painted characters (about 3 inches high) with hours of stories to tell, worlds to explore and songs to sing along with. Each collectible character magnetically attaches to the soft-covered Toniebox, making it simple for little listeners to change stories whenever they want. There are two types of Tonies: Character Tonies, which play specific stories, story collections or song collections (available separately); and Creative-Tonies® which you can record your own stories or songs onto.

The Tonies Starter Set includes one color-matched Creative-Tonie and the Toniebox with a headphone jack, auto turnoff and parental controls. The included Creative-Tonie can store and play up to 90 minutes of custom content including songs, audiobooks or even your own stories and messages you record. This set also includes a charging station to power your Toniebox battery (up to 7 hours of battery life) and an instruction manual.

• The Toniebox® instantly recognizes the Tonie standing on top, and they have the magic key.
• The key unlocks the right audio files so the box can download them from the Toniecloud. The story will begin immediately.
• Once the LED turns solid green, the audio content has been completely downloaded and you can play it anywhere without a Wi-Fi connection – perfect for taking your child's Toniebox® on the go!

The Toniebox® puts control of story time in the hands of your little listener.

• Squeeze an ear to raise or lower the volume.
• Tap the sides to change chapters or tilt to fast-forward or rewind.
• Even swapping stores is simple. Just place a different Tonie on the box to begin a new adventure!

• The Toniebox® uses a built-in nickel-metal hydride battery, also know as a NiMH battery. It is charged using the charging station supplies. The Toniebox can be operated while the battery is charging.
