“Full steam ahead!”. Chug around your BRIO® World railway with realistic steam effects in the Battery-Operated Steaming Train.

This battery-powered engine produces safe-to-touch steam from its chimney as it speeds down the tracks. Once you’re out of water, you can easily refill the engine using the refill load that’s being pulled behind the train. Press the red forward button on the top of the engine, the front light switches on as the steam starts to rise, and you’re off again on more classic railway adventures.

Activate the lights and movement by either pressing the red forward or backward button on the top of the engine. The steam will automatically come out of the chimney when the train is moving. Press either of the buttons again and the train will come to a halt, turning off the steam effects and light.

The Battery-Operated Steaming Train is designed to be fully compatible with other BRIO World toys, making it a great addition to any BRIO World railway layout. BRIO wooden railway sets are a classic. The trains, tracks and accessories are made from heirloom quality hardwoods and fit together intuitively. With enough tracks and accessories, the open-ended nature allows the child to create a railway empire straight from their own imaginations!
